Alaska Sunset

“Alaska Sunset.”  The company that ultimately became Alaska Airlines was born in 1932 when Linious “Mac” McGee painted

“McGee Airways” on the side of a three-passenger Stinson and started flying out of Anchorage. The current decade has seen Alaska

Airlines stretch its all-737 fleet across the Lower 48 and into Mexico. This piece depicts an Alaska Airlines 737-800 on final

into Anchorage with the Chugach Range’s iconic O’Malley Peak as a backdrop.
