Homeward Bound.  This painting depicts a Douglas DC-3 of Cordova Airlines returning home through the Wrangell-St. Elias

mountains. The airline used two DC-3s on its regular scheduled routes and charter service, flying construction equipment and

passengers throughout Alaska and Canada during World War II and the Cold War periods.
